90 hectares of strawberries under macrotunnel in Moguer. More than 7.5M plants and over 5M kg a season. One obsession: every strawberry that reaches the market must leave the field on its perfect day.
The Huelva strawberry is unlike any other: the sandy soil, the Atlantic climate and the long southern days give each berry a balance of firmness, sweetness and fragrance that simply can't be replicated. Our job is to respect that gift. We grow in soil and in hydroponics, always under macrotunnel — sheltered from wind, hail and heavy rain. The plant takes its time, unhurried, until the strawberry hits its exact peak. And only then do we pick it, by hand.
Fresh strawberry is one of the most nutritionally dense fruits per calorie on the planet. Rich in vitamin C, antioxidants (anthocyanins) and fibre, low in sugar and almost fat-free.
